I prayed for the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Yesterday, during the intercessory prayer time at YWAM Osaka, I prayed for the Democratic Republic of Congo.

On February 13th of this year, 70 Christians were kidnapped and executed at a Protestant church by extremists.

I prayed for the surviving friends and family of those who lost their lives to be protected from extremists, for the church that is being persecuted, and for their faith to be strengthened.

Even in Islamic countries where freedom of religion is guaranteed, people who convert from Islam to Christianity often face severe persecution, and often risk their lives to defend their faith, but this made me want to continue praying for them.
