YWAM Japan Gathering in Osaka ✨

Last week we had the YWAM Japan Gathering in Osaka ✨

This time, I served at the reception desk issuing handwritten receipts (something I rarely do anymore!). I also gave a short presentation on the OMT Bible Translation Project. 📖🌍

Unlike traditional translations that focus on written language, OMT works with spoken language and dialects. With just a smartphone, people can record and edit the Bible in their mother tongue—making Scripture accessible even to those who cannot read. Hearing the Bible in your own dialect makes God’s Word feel closer and warmer. 💡

👉 The vision of OMT: that every nation can encounter God’s Word in their own language.

About 200 people joined this year (compared to 120 two years ago!). New YWAM bases have been pioneered in Japan this year, and fresh ministries are being birthed. 🙌

For the children of the desolate one will be more than the children of her who is married,” says the Lord. “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.
